New Flashing Firmware?

Hey everyone. I've been out of the loop for a while what with college and all, and I heard that there is a new flash for the wave 3 games? I believe that I have the Hitachi drive, or maybe it's a Sammy... Where could I find the new firmwares for these drives? Thanks.

1.51 is for wave 3
1.6 has wave 3 support
1.61 is wave 4

L4D 2 is wave 5, and there is no support for it. You either need the boot disk (activate.iso + 1.6 ixtreme) or 1.51 on hitachi, or a non stealth fw.

my v28 with ix v1.61 boots it fine with no acto iso

So the 1.61 FW will be sufficient to run L4D 2 online then?

Yes, as long as you have a drive that can be flashed to 1.61 you'll be good.

I dont know about online! I wouldn't go online with it.

I believe the 1.51 will work on the Hitachi for all waves but ask around and make sure . I wouldn't go online right now with any modded FW though
