made bootable flash drive

I have a question to ask i made the bootable flash drive on my laptop in i just wont to know if i can do the flashing on a different computer a desktop computer

if iprep picked up a sata port or any port for that matter.the io/id would be different on the desktop computer,so that means it will no work

just build the usb flash with iprep on the computer you are going to flash with.
