benq/sammy flash problems with jungle

Hi I spoofed a ben to a sammy,but now i wanted to flash to 1.61 and it says write verify failed.First am I right to flash as a benq not sammy firmware?Also now the write has gone wrong how do I put it right or can I not ?please any help would be great as totally up sh#t creek!!!! Thanks jay

Managed to put it back to the way it was at the start(ben spoofed to sammy) but still need to Know if I'm going about this the right way. Thanks jay

what dvd drive did the console come with original.
and what drive are you wanting to spoof in.

Hi the original drive was a samsung and i spoofed a benq and it worked fine.I was going to keep this as standard as have another xbox thats flashed with1.61, but as i can never get on it as my son has gone mad on mw2 online, I thought I'd flash it to 1.61 so i can play my other games on it. thanks jay
