Hitachi 79 Flash problem

Hello new here i heard this was the place to get help so hopefully one of you know what's going on.





I made a mistake in the video when i said i hooked it back up it reads stock what i meant to say was before you flash and you click read source you'll see stock in the log and after flashing when i click read source it says iXtreme 1.51v79 x12.

ok,was the liteon drive the original drive?
you need to dump the key from liteon first(ck3 and probe)
each xbox has a unique key and will only work with that key
so if liteon is original drive you have to use that key on liteon pcb
you can then spoof it to the hitachi,so that the hitachi will report as a liteon,but more importantly it has the correct drive in

i saw on video,in the jf log that the drive key before flashing reported as 0000000000000000000
this isnt a dvd key.

Yes the lite on is the original

So what your saying it i have to make the xbox think the Hitachi is a liteon by getting the key from the lite on and using the spoof tool available in jungle flasher.

Do i put the lite on in mobe b with slax then boot up windows go to jungle flasher and just click save the key?

sorry for double posting but how do i get the key for the liteon what steps do i need to take

You just dump the lite-on you'll need a probe, then once you dump it, you will have the dummy.bin and you load that as your source firmware, load hit 1.51 as target click spoof source to target, and flash.

You have your hitachi's original key in the drive right now, which is not the correct key for the xbox it's in, so the xbox will not treat anything as a game, it will only play dvd's. Once you get the right key in the drive it will work perfectly.

Take a look at this, it will show you how to flash the lite-on, but you'll only need to go as far as dumping it:

Ok I'll might try it do i really need the probe a toothpick should work i notice in the video all you have to do is hold it straight and you'll get the green light
