I had a similar problem i flash two lite-on drive and test them and all i got a reading. then couldn't get the in vendor mode or the pc to recognize them. it Drove me nuts so i uninstalled portio32 and my raid driver and click on delete driver. shut down my pc took off my raid put it back in install portio32 again and raid but this time the raid on my device manager wasn't a 3249 just said vt6421. Used the newest iprep and got it to reappear and got it flashed right. so it could of been the raid driver or pci slot or ur sata cord. just try anything and trust me its so rewarding when u get it to work. BTW when installin ur raid driver just have windows 7 install the one that comes with it dont manual install. hope this would help u
