iXtreme LT not going to be free...WTF???

I normally wouldn't post something like this but, it came from ixtremelt's website.
Updated today they posted:

14 January 2009 - EXCLUSIVE NEWS AND CONFIRMED: ixtreme LT is not free!
The retail price will be 110 USD. The key has some kind of encryption, so that it can not be used for free. More details will be placed when they are available.

Who knows? Not much information there. I guess if they are going to warranty or support their work, this might be worth looking at.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake,
