I've seen that happen before. Reading cheaper media is difficult sometimes. Depends on how well tuned the laser is. For some it's not problem, like Dragonfire, but for others, it's a nightmare. I would find a local shop that sells either single disks or a 3 pack and try a different brand and see how things work. I would try verbatims if I could. That way, when you find a brand your 360 likes, you can go shop for a larger quantity of them.

Only problem is they are MII (Made In India) not Singapore. I haven't burned any games yet, i'm still waiting on my kreon drive. Anyone have any experience, good or bad, with the Indian made disks? I hear alot of bad reviews on the other forums.
My understanding is that the India made disks are not the same quality as the ones from Singapore. I get the same ones cofree gets and we usually get the Singapore ones. The last batch he bought from the superstore were from india, which sucks because we buy them in bulk. I would stick to quality media if you want good backups. Like sadalius says, the old xbox would really only work good with the good quality verbatims ( I experienced the same results) and that makes it obvious to me that it makes a difference.

I came by a ton of these Memorex discs for super cheap. So far, they're great but I like Verbatim.

I have those 2.4X-6X speed are made in Singapore. Would it be fine to burn backups?

The Singapore ones are the good ones. At least they are in the 8x. I would imagine they are in the 6x if they are not the ones from India.
