spoofed ms28 as a hitachi 47 dj plays wave 3 but not wave 4

Hello,

I was wondering why my spoofed samsung ms28 drive (spoofed as a hitachi 47dj) will playback wave 3 games successfully but will not playback wave 4 despite the drive being at 1.51 (albeit the spoofed drive, ms28). Bear in mind that the samsung is new. Any ideas as to why this may have occurred? any help would be appreciated. On another note, the only media i use is verbatim burned @ 2.4 times just like cofree described in the tutorial.

It sounds like you used the wrong firmware mate.If you wanted to boot all waves,you should of used either 1.61 or a non stealth version of 1.6. I take it that you wont be going on live?.if thats the case then re flash with the non stealth that came out earlier this year or if its a new box,unbanned then i suggest waiting for the sammy LT that should be around shortly.By the way,the non stealth or LT will be future proof as it doesnt worry about waves.Hope this helps you.

I"m guessing your referring to use the 1.61 for the spoofed drive? If so, then i don't understand how that would work. Remember, this is a SPOOFED drive (samsung ms 28 thinks it's a hitachi 47dj) this is NOT a single samsung ms28 drive by itself otherwise yes, i would have gone directly to flashing. Unless i am reading this wrong .

Just becuase its spoofed,dosent mean you have to use 1.51 firmware,you can still use any type of samsung ms28 firmware you want.I suggest looking for the unstealth one thats out for ease of use in the future.Did you think that because its spoofed as a hit 47 then you had to stick to 1.51? thats not right,you can use all types.

I'm guessing what you mean by this is the following. since i already have my drive spoofed (the ms28 as a hit 47dj) & i have a valid key, i simply have to download the 1.61 ixtreme firmware for the samsung then spoof that one to think it's the hit 1.51 firmware. correct me if i'm wrong.

you have to use the hit 47 ofw as source and then use the samsung firmware as target.it still gets flashed as a sammy but you just fool the xbox into thinking its a hitachi.i would use the non stealth 1.6 if you dont want to worry about the future waves.With the amount of posts you have,you dont appear to be a beginner so i cant see why you are confused by this.if you know how to spoof then the rest is simple.

it's probably just me being confused by simplistic issues as for some reason I tend to understand or mistaken much more difficult tasks to be easy & the easy stuff to be difficult. lit. I sometimes work backwards.
