Talking to tech guru Leo LaPorte on his Tech Guy Labs podcast, Tannenbaum seemingly announced Slingbox streaming to Sony PS3. He said that the Slingbox software will allow you to stream to “your phone, your laptop, and soon to even the PlayS – uh, PS3.”
Tannenbaum didn’t explain exactly how the PS3 streaming will work. You’ll most likely need the Slingbox hardware to actually do the slinging but how the software for your PS3 will be delivered remains a bit of a mystery. Some speculate that the streaming might actually take place via the PS3’s own browser.
Quite when the SlingPlayer PS3 streaming will Last time we heard from Sling Media, they were unveiling the Sling Touch Control 100 touchscreen remote and firing up rumours of a Google Android SlingPlayer app.
I currently use slingbox for my SkyHd box, works a treat so i'm sure this will be just as good...
