Just so you know noobs, having the wave5/6 files in the stealthfiles folder does not affect the verification.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake,
you just keep on trying 'till you run out of cake.

But you can manually patch it with the correct wave video file as long as you know what wave the game is. That being said, I still need the file, I cannot login to the ftp that ronin emailed everyone. I think the limit has been reached.

Yes you can, but abgx wont fix other files like DMI etc.. Manually patching partition will fix the partition, but abgx wont patch other files that are blank because abgx has not updated to wave 5 and 6. Ya'll need to read the whole tread.

But after correcting correct vid wave you can then patch the dmi and patch to ssv2 using abgx websites patch files for each game. Then as long as the crcs all match and ssv2 then game should be good to go

Yeah i got it working, i patched mass effect 2 (wave 6) down to wave 3 using that patching tool and then used the ss and dmi combinations (which were different for each disc) with abgx360 and now its recognised as a game not a dvd and plays fine

I'm having the same issues with Bioshock 2 - it seems to need the same Video_E2FA3A26.iso.

My modded Xbox is 100% unbanned and 100% offline, and I flashed my BenQ drive with the 1.6 non-stealth FW. So I really don't care about SS files etc. I just can't find the technique to convert the Wave into something my Xbox will run.

I've tried the 360-Waves-Patcher-1.1-version-finale- tool to convert my ISO into Wave 3 & 4 but that was just two wasted discs.

Can anyone advise on what I might need to do to just get it running?

Try abgx360, it also has options to patch parts of the ISO, though you might need to patch more parts than just the video partition; the DMI/PFI also need to be fixed to agree I think.

You can also just use the activate iso. There's a video tutorial on this site describing how to use it.

That video file is for Wave 6. I will PM you the file, however you need to manually patch it in the iso using abgx. You should flash your drive with 1.61, otherwise you need to use the activate.iso disc to play games patched above wave 4.
