I usually save them. You may not need them, but if you ever update and get a bad flash you will have those keys and the ability to restore the drive. Did you end up getting the slax cd to work?

hi again i think i have now sorted it i did a restore and flashed the drive i now have was file and key file now file 47-16-8x file wot do i do with these
do i save them just and wot use will ther be thanks again for all help you have all done

ok will do ill save them in a few places so does that mean if my drive ever goes on me wud i be able to bye a new one and use them files i saved and yes i got the slax disk to work in the end lol

Yes. You could use those files to either spoof a new drive of a different type or replace the v47 with a working one.
