Hello, I have run into some trouble when trying to flash my Liton to latest 1.7 IExtreme firmware.
I have my Lite-on Drive 74850C connected to my pc with Xecuter CK3 lite and CK3 Probe. Everything worked i managed to dump the firmware key,inquiry,identify,serial,dummy.bin. In the Firmware Tool section in Jungleflasher I Added the source Firmware did the spoof added the LT 1.7 firmware and saved it.
I think this was my big misstake after that i proceeded to do the Lite-on Erase and obv it failed. Now i cant eject the dvd tray anymore. I have read on some forums that you can actually use Iprep to install orginal firmware back to your Lite on and get it working that way. Now the problem is I don´t really have an orginal firmware or i added the destination firmware in the first step right of the bat. So when i Open that file it says Firmware type IExtreme LT. I have tried in several versions of ipred to get a flash file going but i always get this error message "No vailid firmware loaded". And I think thats because the firmware i saved down with JungleFlasher is not vieved as "orginal" anymore?
But anyway i have the 5 files from the dump is there any way to create an orginal firmware from scratch to get my Drive back responding? Or what actions do you recommend me taking now?

Re: Lite-On 74850C Driver Lite-On Erase Error in JungleFlasher
Hey there Sorry for no earlier response.
I had hardtime to get IPREP to accept my firmware from Jungle flasher.
Anyway I went into the Jungleflasher chat room and there i got the advice from them to try power cycle then Hit INTro device button in MTK flash and if i could get some certain Device Ids up i was good to go with Flashing. And my device ids was good so then i could flash and voila now its all fine
.
Anyway its a few days ago but thats the procedure in a nutshell. I have not seen this procedure posted anywere just that u need IPREP to recover these kind of problems. But u can actually do it with JungleFlasher too.
