Flashed drive & now will only play dvds

Hi

I bought a samsung m28 about 6months ago & flashed it with 1.6 cfw.Then I got banned lol.So now that 1.61cfw for wave 4 came out I flashed it to 1.61,which I had problems with.The xbox 360 works like it's suppose to dashboard comes up,no red lights but the rom is making noises it takes a long time in reading games(even orig.)then see's them as a dvd instead of a game.Thought it was a bad flash so I reflashed & it has the same problem.I read here in the forums that someone had the same problem as me but it was a long time ago & I can't find the post.I'm thinking maybe a lazer adjustment but I need some input before messing with it further

Original's come up as dvd's? You may want to check your drive key, its probably not the correct key, if you have the log saved (if you used JF) or the drives OFW, or even the drives 1.6 fw, try getting the key from them (if you have the 1.6 dumped on your hdd somewhere, try flashing it back).

It plays orig. now & wave 3 after I reflashed 1.6 cfw back on it.The key is good,I took it off the orig. rom 4 times & burned it to a disk.The reason I went to 1.61 was because I was getting a dirty disk error after playing for a while & would have to use the wave 4 disk.Then I kept getting the open door message & have to do it all over again.So I did some more reading on this site & others,found a tutorial on adjusting the dvd pot,which was set at 4.3 ohms & adjusted it to 3.5 ohms which lessend the problem but didn't solve it.The dvd rom is approx. 7 months old from divineo(samsung m-28).I thing that it is the problem & was thinking of trying another make like a hitachi.
