Bricked MS25

Ok, People have told me that u can't brick a MS25, well i did, i flashed my dvd drive wrong and now it's bricked. I had googled unbricking MS25 and i found some things about MTKFLASH and thats old stuff and i can't get that stuff. Anyways i did find something about just trying it again and again, that didn't work, i also tried powering on and off the 360 at different times and that didn't help.

The one thing that does happen is my PC picks up the DVD drive some how. When i switch the port to a different port it doesn't detect any drives. I think theres something there.

So can some one just leave some comments on what i should do because people are saying they fixed there MS25 after flashing it wrong, i also get the E65 error when i connect the DVD drive to the 360.

If i can't fix it, does some one want to buy it so they can fix it i also have a hitachi 78 that i will sell as a combo to buy a new one i also have a 360 with 3RROD if any one was wondering.

at what point did you have trouble.
getting that error its picking up a bad firmware.do you have a copy of the orig firmware or at least the key that was in the dvd drive.
if you got it to dump then you should have a copy.check the key with firmwaretool box to see if it good.

if you flashed the dvd drive with a bad key and dont have a copy of the orig firmware with a good key or at lease the good key its
game over man im sorry to say.

I don't know who says you can't brick a drive, not just a ms-25 but any of them, but you sure can. The quickest way to brick one is to flash it with a firmware with the key from a bad dump. Since the firmware dump has the DVD key in it, if something happens that it gives a bad dump, more than likely the key is bad and if you create a hacked firmware with a bad key and flash it, the 360 won't play games.

Give us some details as to the process you used to dump and flash your drive and maybe we can tell you what happened and if there is a way to fix it. Check the dump that you got from the drive with firmware toolbox and see if the key is good. If it is, you may be able to fix it.

I'm just saying that why do i need a good key from the DVD drive that didn't come with the console it's pointless right? i have the orig.bin from my prevoius bricked drive and that key is ok no fffffff or 00000000 in the key, it's all different numbers that should be good i think?

When i tried dumping the MS25 firmware i had no problems ?I think?. I think i did a bad flash on my MS25 in the first place becuase i didn't relize it but i had an error when i dumped the Firmware i didn't look at the screen all the way it just sayed "restart PC" at the bottem and I continued with restarting PC making iXtreme firmware and the checker thing said Success full. When i went to go flash my drive it hang at 95% for who knows how long for but i think when i was dumping the firmware in the first place i walked away not nowing that i had RED TEXT and thats where i think f()cKeD UP.

the only key you need is the orig key that came in the 360 to start with.
as why it not dumping right.im not sure.

are you trying to spoof a new dvd drive in your 360.
