UPDATEING FROM ACTIVE ISO DISC

Post by sunhouse »

Hi guys i hope this is the right place?
ok iv flashed 2 consoles so far and my last one was a lit-on 16d2s (74850c)
and i don the active iso disc way back b4 the new ummmm my god i dont even know what firm wear it is at 1.6 is it the new one.
anyway what im asking is.
so i dont have to keep using this active iso disc i really want to flash it properly with the new firm wear, i have the CK3 and PROBE i just really need to know what clip to watch, i used the shoot steal vid b4 and how to go about it. do i just do the exact same thing as b4 but just load the new firm wear in it??
also when will it change again the firm wear i mean? is it worth me doing it now? cos i dont want to take my 360 apart again to do this and then in a few weeks another new firm wear comes out and i have to do it again. id rather just wait you know?
1. I have CK3 and probe
2. lite on 74850c
3. i want to do it the jungle flasher way so what new one do i need?
4. what firm wear i need?
5. im using win xp (sata card)
thanks guys!! many thanks.

hook up drive in half open mode

open jungle flasher (make sure drive is visible)

in the dvdkey32 tab click dummy from ixtreme (you dont need the probe!)

open the ixtreme LT firmware as the target firmware ( ixtreme LT can be found on xbins)

Save it

go in the mtk flash 32 tab then click lite on erase

click ok to the next box

ready your self to turn the power off then back on in a second!

when you are ready to do so click ok to the second box then do the power cycle (in a second!)

once you get good flash properties click write in the same tab ( flash should diplay status 72)

then your done :)

oh and if your using a via card then you should remove the drivers for it so jungle flasher doesnt crash when you get to the erase part :D i cant find a tutorial on how to do this on the site but if you goto jungleflasher.net and download the jungleflasher tutorial it will tell you at the bottom of the tutorial :D

dammmmn i hit some problems bro. i never went ahead and erased tho i just backed out.
ok here is my problems lol
i unpacked the rar file of the ixtreme LT firmware but i was faced with a few VLC icons and a folder named lite on.org and prity much the same kinda thing inside there to.
ok so what i don was opened the ixtreme LT firmware as the target firmware and just picked the 74850c one not the one in the org folder the one that is inside the ixtreme folder itself. anyway after doing all the saving and shit the target number and the source number wasn't the same.
im watching a mwest clip on youtube as well and it was all the same basically as what you said do. but he had the same number. so i just ended the session, saved the log and here i am.
i did try again but with the other one inside the .org folder but still the 2 numbers wasnt the same but what id don diffrent was i put it inside the firmwere folder inside j/f cos i thought it may just load it itself. it didnt both times i got the error can`t fined c/my documents/.............. so both times i would of had to load it myself.(you get me lmao) sorry
any ideas?????????????????????? please!!
