hi guys anyone know what this update is for is it a new ban wave?

It's to enable the use of flashdrives (usb) to transfer your gamer profiles, game saves, etc. Good news maybe for the people with the Datel memory units...

just wanted to let you know that i update with tht update with a banned 360 good thing is it lets you install games to hdd again worked perfect i installed mw2 and just cause 2 both work perfectly just thought id let you guys know

So your saying you got the update file onto a banned 360 and now you can install games again right ? Why dont I believe you ?

It's true about the installs. Plenty of torrent sites have people reporting that installs work again on banned machines.

It'll be easier to uncorrupt now, just save your profile on the usb stick, plug that into your usb port on your comp run the tool to uncorrupt it, and your done.

can u get banned for doing this??

All it does is uncorrupt content messed up by a banned console. There is no way to undo a console or profile ban.

You also need to use the hash block calculator to resign the content after removing the flags with con flag remover. The two programs are basically useless without each other.

Now all they need to do is enable you to use MCE again and I'll be happy with my banned console's!
