Tutorial For Flashing BenQ

Post by NeoRio »

I'm gearing up to flash my 2 BenQs with the latest FW. Is there a tutorial on the best way to flash? I have a Connectivity Kit 3 and have used iPrep in the past.

Is THX_v1.6 the latest FW?

Also, I just got a new 360; what is the easiest way to confirm what CD-ROM it came with?

Thank you!

I would recomend using jungle flasher becasue its faster and easier, the video is a bit outdated but its the latest video for flashing benq drives we have here. Also make sure you get the latest jungle flasher which is 1.73

No iXtreme LT 1.1 is the latest firmware for benq drives, you can find it on xbins.

Goto http://www.360drives,com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, type in your mfr date on there to see what drive you have
OR
You can look through the little hole on the drive by taking off the faceplate, see what colour wires there is, blocked hole = hitachi, red/black wires = samsung, white wires = benq, yellow wires = lite on.

any more questions? :D

Thanks for the heads up louis, is this the tutorial you are suggesting?-- http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... 195&t=7784" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Are there any changes to the flashing process using the new Jungle Flasher than the one shown in the video?
