QUICK QUESTION. I HAD MY VIA VT6421 CARD DIE OUT ON ME AND I PURCHASED A SIL3512 CARD WHICH I FLASHED TO A NON-RAID BIOS TO WORK WITH MY DVD-BURNER. I HAVE A OLD MOBO SO I HAVE TO USE A PCI SATA CARD FOR MY SATA OPTICAL DRIVES.
QUESTION 1) HAS ANYONE TRIED A DUMP AND FLASH USING ONE OF THESE CARDS, AS IN ARE THEY ANY GOOD FOR THE JOB OF FLASHING A 360 DRIVE?
QUESTION 2) IS THERE AN ISSUE WITH THE CARD BEING IN A NON-RAID BIOS?
THANKS EVERYONE AND HAVE A GREAT WEEK! GO 6 WEEK SEMESTER OF CHEMISTRY! not...

Re: SIL 3512 PCI CARD
Thanks guys and sorry for the all caps, I was working on chemistry and the caps didn't even stand out at the hour I sent out the message.
I will look around a little more before I purchase another via card to see if this is compatible for doing the job.
Once again thank you all.
