Someone over at anandtech has stripped down his new 360 including details on how to get it apart and what model the new drive is.

i dont see the point, one of the main reasons for having a high capasity hdd is to install multiple games to prevent the console from working harder when playing games, getting a arcade would be pointless in my view

Just about everyone I know only wants the console for its looks, just about every gamer I know does not use the HDD install feature, and I know I dont. A $200 version w/o the HDD would be nice I'd buy it then I'd buy the HDD module, and stick my current HDD inside it, save myself 100 bucks...
