Re: benq hardware quest?
link removed, we have our own section for error codes
here it is
http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... 101&t=2962" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
This will list all of the known error codes, 1022 is AV cable or encoder chip. The dvd drive should be fine if it was working before the error code showed up.

Re: benq hardware quest?
The penny trick is stupid.
Based on common sense, does it seem right? Removing thermal pads from ram chip's and replacing them with pennies taped with electrical tape?
Anyways, the ana is located under the fa shroud behind the GPU its the only chip back there. I'm pretty sure you can reflow it, you may want to do some googling, ive never fixed an ana, but there are lots of people out there who have.
If your able to reflow it and fix it, you should probably buy a ana heatsink and stick it on there, that should eliminate any future ana troubles.

Re: benq hardware quest?
I only know of them in kit's
You might try this kit: http://www.ck3.co.uk/xecuter-rrod-360_p ... rsion.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It includes 2 heatsink's one for the southbridge and one for the ana.
You might be able to find the pads on ebay.
Edit: You can find the pads on ebay for relatively cheap...
