returning LITEON 83850C v1 back to stock

hi guys - sorry for being such a thicky but, i want to return my LITEON 83850C v1 drive back to stock...accept live update and return back to lt1.1..i have the necceasry files saved onto my Desktop when i flashed this drive with lt1.1 earlier , i have the dummy.bin, key, identify and enquiry and also the Litcfw.bin which is what ill be using to return back to lt1.1 after accepting the live updates..is it a matter of:

1. load my dummy.bin as the SOURCE in JF
2. load the ORIGINAL.BIN for my LITEON 83850C v1 drive as the TARGET
3. click SPOOF SOURCE TO TARGET and save the file as LITCFW.BIN

i then want to use the DOS method to flash , ie, the L-O-ERAS to write the firmware as my VIA and ONBOARD SATA tend to freeze....

is that the correct way of going about it ..ta ?

if your drive freezes with the via card then remove the drivers for it, as for the flashing process, yes l-o-eras should work fine, but why not do it all in jungleflasher? if its because it freezes then remove the drivers for your via card and you should have no problems at all with jungleflasher

ill try that....if it does freeze then ill try l-o-erase method.....is jf compatible with windows 7 ?...are ther ck3 usb drivers for windows 7 64 bit ?...ta

jungleflasher does work with windows 7 but im not sure if it does with the 64-bit version, if you are confident in flashing it with DOS then i would use that instead because of you having a 64-bit computer
