games saved on hdd question?

k i got a question about adding a game to the hdd then playen online wit it..i got my mw2 org & burn it to the xbox hdd..now if i back my back up copy of the game and insert it in the xbox and if it not patch to play online is theree a possible for u to get banned or is it reading the game str8 from the hdd to verify it online play or from the disc..

if you have a flash console
there is always a chance of it getting banned
playing a backup increase that chance

srry i didnt make my question more clear..if ur game is ripped to ur hdd wen u play online does the console start reading for the disc or it keeps reading from the hdd..

if you have a game ripped to your HD
it will play from your HD
it does not play from the game or backup that you have in the drive
but that being said
that does not mean you want get banned, or even stand less of a chance of getting banned

the best setup right now is a
modded unbanned console and a stock console play all backups on the modded console that you 'NEVER" put on line and just
move the HD over to the stock when you want to get on line
and
that does mean you will have to get a "real' game to play on live
I make damn sure im going to play a game a lot on live before i buy one
the games are so short no days, its stupid to even conciser buying a game if you will not get 50+ hours of game play

ok thanks for the infor..yea it realy not worth buying unless u plan on playen 50+hrs like u sayed.....and is the hd in the 360 a regular hd or is it a laptop hd..wanna try to upgrade my hd to 250..

its a laptop HD
but
there is a good bit to making a laptop HD work in/on your console
as far as i know there is only a few that will even work

250 gig xbox 360 hard drives can be found on dealextreme.com for around $56. This is cheaper and easier than trying to set one up yourself.

that is the best way to do it
just replace you HD with a larger xbox HD
then you just have to move your stuff over
you can get a tranfer kit and move the stuff
ive never used one
im still using the first 20gb i got
been through 4 consoles
