It seems that my previous post is going unanswered. I recently posted, "Need Help!" and noticed that I have gotten 11 reviews thus far but no replies. Can someone please help me and respond. Here is the previous post of what I wrote.
"I need help on how to spoof a lite-on drive back to original firmware or stock firmware by using jungle flasher. I have a Lite-On v74850C drive and I lost the original firmware to it. I got the iXtreme LT v1.1 for the lite-on and I noticed that not only it comes with the CFW but also OFW for the v74850C, v83850C, v83850Cv2, and v93450C. My question is...is it possible to restore my Lite-On v74850C drive back to original or stock firmware by using the OFW that came with the iXtreme LT v1.1 package? and if so, how do you do it? I have read in several forums that you can't restore any of the Lite-On drives back to original firmware or stock firmware. And in others, I have read that it IS possible to restore any of the Lite-On drives back to original or stock firmware (OFW). I am very confused by this. Is it possible to restore any Lite-On drives back to original or stock firmware? Yes or No? Please help. Thanks....c0afanh."

Re: Need Help Please!
Firstly, dont start a new topic and quote exactly what you have already posted. I have just deleted your original thread, we will use this one. If you dont get any replies, bump the topic, or message one of the staff and see if they can help you, most times the thread will get past over by us and get burried.
Load your actual ofw as source and target, then power the drive with the tray half open, then flash the drive.
The OFW in the LT folder is the EXACT same as YOUR actual OFW, minus the fact that your ofw has your key in it, the one included in the LT folder has a key of just 0's or F's or something.

Re: Need Help Please!
The OFW in the LT folder while using Jungle Flasher should up as the following key: 55AA55AA55AA55AA55AA55AA55AA55AA. It did not show up as 0's or F's. Is this still ok to use to restore my Lite-On v74850C drive back to stock or OFW? Please let me know. Re: Need Help Please!
yes it is man
as long as your "ofw" from your dummy file has your good key in it just spoof it in and flash
one thing
doing a restore like this is not spoofing a drive
its just doing a restore
spoof defined
is to alter a firmware to report as a firmware other than what it truly is.
that is to say
a benq spoofed as a samsung
when you put the benq in the console that had a samsung in originally
when the console polls the dvd drive the benq will lie (so to speak) and say to the console hey im a samsung

Re: Need Help Please!
Yep, just copy your actual key into the FW and go from there.
You can also just load your dummy.bin as source and target, and not mess with your key or anything.

Re: Need Help Please!
As long as you and CoFree say it's ok to use the Lite-On v74850C OFW that came with the LT package to restore my Lite-On drive back to stock, than I will give it a shot by either tonight or tomorrow by using Jungle Flasher v1.75b. I will let you both know what was the result. The reason why I want to restore back to stock is because I would like to do the XBL updates first before flashing it with iXtreme LT v1.1. I previously flashed it with iXtreme v1.61 (re-pack) a long time a ago. The console has never been banned from XBL. I know even after doing the XBL updates and flashing my Lite-On drive with iXtreme LT v1.1, there is no for sure thing that I will not get banned from XBL. I just figured it's worth the shot. Anyway, I will post my results soon. Thank again to both you HaGGardSmurf and CoFree.HaGGardSmurf wrote:Yep, just copy your actual key into the FW and go from there.

Re: Need Help Please!
well
i would update to the lt v1.1 firmware and then get on live for the update
going back to stock is not going to stop or even slow down you getting banned if you console has been flagged

Re: Need Help Please!
If you feel that I should just upgrade my CFW from iXtreme v1.61 (re-pack) to iXtreme LT v1.1 then I will just do that instead of restoring my Lite-On v74850C drive back to stock. Anyway, I am using jungle flasher to update my CFW, my question is, since my Lite-On drive has been previously flashed with iXtreme v1.61 (re-pack) and what do update it to iXtreme LT v1.1, do I still have to use the probe and instered it into the R707 hole to extract the DVD key? or can I bypass that step and do the other steps as normal? Please let me know. Thanks CoFree for you advice. People like you and others on this site keep this website awesome. Keep up the good work. Thanks...c0afanh.CoFree wrote:well

Re: Need Help Please!
you should be able to dump the drive by using the
dump from ixtreme
i think that is what its call in jungle flasher.
and
on the update
man
you are on your own there
if i had to have the update
that is the way i would try it
update the console to the lt firmware and hold my breath as i hooked it to live
you need to keep in mind that the most valuable thing right now is a flashed unbanned console
i have some that will never see live again
if i cant get the update from a disc then it will not be updated ever
now once the slim is flashable then things change
until there is a way for the normal guys (like me
) to flash a slim
im just not messing with my unbanned flashed consoles
