controlers wont conect

a friend at work as asked me to take a look at some controlers of his that wont conect to his ps3 he as three of them now his ps3 works fine and one of his controlers but he as three spares all of which wont conect any ideas

Have you tried resetting the controller?

A friend of mine had the same problem with one of his controller's I asked him how he fixed it, he said he reset and recharged the controller and it worked again.

There is a button on the back you need to press with a paper clip or small object.
