flashing hit 59

im having trouble finding the how-to on flashing a hitachi 59. Can anyone send me a link. Search isnt working for me. Im using a ck3 lite. also, is 1.51 the newest fw for it?

Load up jungle flasher, find your drive, eject the tray and send mode b through jungle flasher.

The tray will close, and mode b will be done.

Hit read to source, save the OFW, load up your CFW (1.51 which is the newest FW for hitachi's) hit spoof source to target, go back to the hitachi tab and select flash ixtreme, then hit the flash button.

you can use the latest j.f 1.51 is the latest firmware for hitachi

For some reason, my computer wont detect the drive. I have a hit 47 that it detects with no problem, but it wont find the 59. It will read original discs fine in the xbox also. Any ideas? Using jf 1.74 beta

I find lots of hitachi's are like this some will be seen others are a pain to find.

Try sending mode b with the CK3 itself, that may help it be seen.

Sometimes I put an original game in the drive and windows and JF will then recognize the drive. Maybe this will help you too.
