lt+ flashed ?

another problem iv just done my 5th this week well almost...
bit of a problem with the 5th, its been flashed b4 on 1.61 lost its orig key (lost my TB HDD) but dumped it twice and both keys are the same so i went and created a usb with iprep 12 and erased in dos and wrote in dos too, all went well except it wont play anything ap2.5 ?
when i set my usb up i used l74cfw in iprep folder is that correct ??? im asking cos im baffled it looks like its still on ixtreme1.61 altho iv flashed it twice and given it the dash update via usb ? and spoofed the key to lt+ then put it in dos folder as the norm...but... it just wont play keeps sayin opentray ? but it plays orig and bkups of the same...i have a xxxx of fable for testing drives but it will not play

wot have i dun ??? i have the dumped firmware and the dummy, how can i test the firmware on the drive to see if its lt+

ahhh i can check it in jf and yep it says it is lt+ so what is wrong can anyone shed light on my migrain ?

its the second flash iv done with this box today,ohwell , iv just remade my cfw in jf and im gona erase and flash again, fingers crossed for the third time

When I did mine with iprep I put the l74 CFW in the backups folder 1234567 12345 the i just wrote from there in iprep l74 1234567 12345 W and it wrote fine I built using Jf But I also removed the l74 FW that Ipep auto loads in the CFW folder to make sure it didn't load that FW and flash it

dont know why thats the third flash of this today done the same way as the rest ? and it only plays non ap2.5 ?
gona rename my lite_cfw to L74CFW and try again, 1 more time for luck ...

but its on lt+ according to jf ???

i havent a clue !

try a different ap25 game/disc
if it wont play it
then it cant have LT+ firmware in it
start over with all new stuff
keep the firmware with the key
but go to xbins and get a new set of LT+ firmware and work with it

cofree man if its flashed with lt+ ... haggard told me once it has lt+ on it i would have to do the mra hack (that was for a sammy, but is it the same for liteon ? ) because i have just tried to dump it again with the probe and the probe's (iv got 2) light up blue but wont go green when connected to r707 ?im clutchin at straws man , iv just redone i again and its just clickin and jumpin while trying to read ap2.5's (iv dun NFSHP too to check but no)

if he was on fw 1.6 (he needed boot disc) but now it boots those games that needed a boot disc without , and the only cfw i have picked was lt+ to spoof to source , then "godammit" it should work !

if you have to dump it again you need to do the mra hack just to dump for the liteon drives but
as long as you have a copy of the key
the samsung dont need the LT+ firmware
im running LTv10 and it plays ap25 games just fine

then just use that as the source firmware.what ever firmware has the good key in it
then the target firmware would be the new LT+ firmware

Well since you updated from 1.61 to LT+ its either got to be one of those FW's.

Seeing as it doesnt need a boot disk for games it used to, your on LT+.

Are you sure you games have ap 2.5 data on them IE: when you ripped them did you patch them?

Also, is the console fully updated? I had a hitachi console I only updated from a game disk and it would not play ap 2.5 games until I downloaded the full update, and used usb to update my console.

i have redone the very same as i did yesterday (exactly the same ?) this time it worked .... it worked last time too...
but im leaning towards a lazer problem not the flash im sure it was correct the first 5 times i did it, but i only tried fabl3 on it , now iv tried ACB and it booted

yep i patched the fabl3 its defo ap2.5 as is assassins c b, and i updated the xb b4 flashing again after checkin its Xval (it was clear-and its played offline all goodys well b4 release on 1.6 when it was released (is that 2yr ish ?)

anyway its done and iv had a look into this mra hack (that stinks) i didnt know lt+ was a one way flash (better bk up all the key dumps to disc - justin - dont wanna loose em again)

Sorry to jump in here, I just noticed if your on LT+ and need to update the FW I would have to do an MRA Hack, Is this still the case if you already still have the keys

Nope just load your previously saved firmware dump into jungleflasher and away you go. Only need the mra hack if you haven't got a previous dump saved.

yep just use your orig dump instead of the dreaded mra hack which is why iv burnt all the keys i have to disc
