dump a liteon 7400 that has LT firmware

thats right guys im trying to dump a liteon 7400 dvd drive that has LT firmware on it
just to make sure the key i saved is the same key that is on the drive
im thinking i got keys messed up some how

ive done the mra trace cutting hack
but still cant get dosflash32 to give me the flash chip properties
i am thinking ill not need the probe
but im not doing some thing right

I did the MRA hack on a stock 7 series the other day to get the full dump. I had trouble getting the drive to show up in doshflash too. For me i had to remove Via drivers. Page 151 of the jftut1.3.8.pdf guide told me how, after i did this it showed up.

had to get shootsteal on the phone but we got it dumpped

I had trouble getting the drive to show up in doshflash too. For me i had to remove Via drivers.

thats not it because this pc dont have a via chipset of any kind in it

you dont need a probe dumping a 7400 that has LT firmware if you do the mra trace cutting hack
for some reason (still unknown) dos flash just would not see the flash chip so it would not dump the drive
i did get jungle flasher to see the drive on the right port
then after hitting the intro button and power cycling the power it pulled up the drive info
then just hit the read and there you go
got the key and stuff off the drive

but guess what
it was all for nothing
i was doing all this because i was thinking i had the wrong or bad key
but no
i had the same key all the time
so i put the 7000 back together
and started looking at the 8000 dvd drive
the damn laser is bad
what a load of crap


any way
I would just like to once again say
i would pay money to be able to spoof in drives and them play the new ap25 games
i have a good many spoofed drives out there
My modded console never go on live
i want a firmware that no matter what it will play what ever game i put in the drive

Glad you got it sorted. Normally if it doesnt work by shouting and threatening it i give up. Still haven't done an mra as i hate soldering but it's good to know i don't need to probe a 7400 drive

i may do one before long

its the same thing you have to do to the 9000 dvd drive
but ant liteon that has LT firmware that you need the info from
