Cumberland-Mods Flashing The Hitachi 79

I didn't want to "hijack" the other thread that is discussing this subject, but I wanted to ask how you think the folks over at Cumberland-Mods (http://www.cumberland-mods.com/index_files/Page699.htm) are flashing the 79?

it says on the site
to the left of the 3 dvd drive "you must PROVIDE passkey chip.
as far as i know there are only 2 chips that will work for the v79

Passkey is a chip that is soldered in. It takes a skilled tech to install one. very small soldering.

OK, I got confused because someone on this list was selling (what I thought) was a pass key for a Hitachi 79...and I was considering buying it (which I thought they'd email me)...as I had 2 Hitachi 79s.
