Noob Question regarding flashing a Hitachi drive to LT+1.1

Hello,
I'm going to flash my brothers Hitachi 360 to LT 1.1, it currently has 1.5 on it. I've flashed Benq's & Liteons before but am new to Hitachis. Will this video tutorial work for me?

yep
should work fine
as long as you have a v79

but
you need to use the new firmware ix LT+ from xbins
found here
xbins/XBOX 360/firmware/hacked firmware/Hitachi-LG GDR-3120L/

and you can get the audio unlock cd from here
79_unlock.rar

burn just the .cue file to the cd
its very small

this is the guide you would want to go by.
Its for a older jungle flasher
but it will give you a understanding of what you need to do.

drive has to be restored before you can flash it

oops sorry I edited my above post instead of posting a reply.

I got the drive in mode b just have one small prob.

It appears that I have the drive flashed back to stock, however im getting an error when I select flash ixtreme. Im getting a cant open file auto load Ixtreme error, Im also using JF v.1.77.
It looks like if I manually select a firmware JF is reading it as stock.

put it in the console and see if it will play only orig games
if so then you just need to flash it
dont auto load the firmware just navigate to it yourself
