Consols stopped while updating, HELP!!

Hi All,

First Happy Easter.

My friend has xbox360 S with modified Phat Lite-on drive. While updating it with Mortal Combat the update stopped as well as the consol and a message appears when he start the consol.




Another friend of mine has same problem with modified Xbox360. Both of them tried to reset their consols by pressing scyc+power bottoms or updating the consol from memory stick but not worked!!!

the only time i have had any trouble, is when i did not have enough room in memory for the update
i would clear the cache and try from a different disc or usb flash

How would i clear the cache??

I can't start the console that message appears and prevent xbox360 to operate then how can I go to system setting?

ok i get it
the console wont even start up the first screen it gives you is the img you put up
man ive never run across that
i would call the xbox 800 number and see what they have to say

just dont tell them its been flashed

I had a similar problem, [system update] mine wouldn't start with the usb in the console, i kept getting an error message once i took out the the usb and reboot it worked fine[ up to now]
not a slim btw

Try booting without any usb or anything plugged in, and try without a disk in the tray.

If that doesnt work, try using a different mortal combat disk, or try to update off the usb drive.

Still have same problem..

Try without the hard drive or anything attached.

If that doesnt work see if you can grab the hard drive off a friend's xbox which is fully updated.
