psp 1003 changing case's

hi i have changed the case on a psp and the screen comes on but is very faint does anyone know what i am doing wrong

i had forgot i even had a psp till i saw your post
i cant think of any thing off the top of my head

i would saw take it back off and put the original back on and see what happens
or go back in it and look for some thing that stands out as wrong
