I always have problems finding the right firmware for my drive when needing to finish off a dash update, so i took the original and custom firmware of someones benq drive i have flashed before
I opened up jungle flasher, opened original as source and custom as target
Above the dvd key boxes it will say DVD Key @ ****, this corresponds to the letter and digits of the multiple original firmware for your drive model
BUT i noticed the original showed DVD Key @ C030 but the custom firmware showed DVD Key @ E040
From this im guessing it doesnt matter which original firmware you pick, i would also think this would apply to liteon drives too, i hope this helps!

Yea, the key location doesn't really matter at all. I'm usually lazy and just open whatever FW I have handy dont usually bother looking at the key location. Never had any issues.

Key location does matter, just the newer update moved location of key. So if you are updating to a dash that has xgd3 support, expect the key to move. If on an older dash and don't plan to update (although I don't know why you wouldn't), stick with firmware that matches your key location.
