updating dash

after reading I found what I needed, Mr CoFree remember me and all my dash update problems ? Let everyone know who started a update with a backup copy and could not get the new dash to update with a usb dvd/cd just go to blockbuster and rent a new game that has the new update ie. battlebield 3 , batman ect..and it updates and is ready for the new 2.0 flash. After taking apart my system and trying to flash back to stock for a week all I had to go was rent a new game and BAM problem fixed !!

Now all I need is a quick refresher on how to flash to 2.0 with jf, also I have not been doing the tray half open thing and it seems to work ok, I wonder if I should in the future do the tray half open for my benq ? thanks again !

I don't think the tray half open is needed anymore (although I don't think it would hurt anything), just send benq unlock command in JF, it will send "magic keys" to your drive and make it ready to read. Read the firmware, and let JF autoload the correct firmware for your drive. Last, write the new fw back to your drive and choose outro.
