ms-25 HELP plz!!!

hi
i have a ms-25 and a the via pci card.
i was backupping my orgiginal firmware but i think something went wrong and now,
my xbox is without an firmware.
i have the copy of my original firmware.
and ollso my xbox gives 1 red ring and an error e65.
and when i try do do it like cofree's vid to restore i get this

i typ rsam 1234567 12345

1. iXTREME pri
i turn off xbox and then i press 1, wait ten second (i tried less or more but still nothing)
then i turn on xbox and does nothing when i hit ESC it say err status=00 should be 70

what the hell should i do now im a bird with no wings right now!!!!

i hope you guys can pls help me.

See if you can do the restore without the 10 second trick. The ms25 doesn't need it the first time you flash it. Also make sure your backup has a valid key. You can use fwtoolbox (in download section) to do this.

when i open fw tool i can select my original.bin and i see a key and what do i have 2 do then????

I think in this situation its going to be important to understand what happened during the original flashing process. Aside from the e65 message, was there any other problems that happened during the original flash of the drive?

no not that i know it was finishd with reading and backuping i saw it go to 100 4 times.
this was only the backup proces i did not went into the flashinf progress!!
then it says complete reboot your pc!
i did but instead of going on i went into windows to secure my original.bin then i got stuck there.
and then i got stuck so what do i need 2 do now

just type fsam 1234567 12345 or what ????

i realy appreciate that you guys wanna help me
i read it and look at some vid's but i dont got any smarter of it
its a ****** up situation and im stuck now

So all you did was to read the firmware out? You hadn't attempted flashing as of yet?

That is a little weird. But try running the fsam command, but don't use the 10 second trick. Make sure that your not connecting the sata cable to the drive until you get to dos. Or you could just leave the drive powered off till you get to dos. Then turn the drive on or connect the sata cable which ever method you choose. The run the fsam 1234567 12345 command. It should go right through with out power it off at this point because its an MS-25. Try that and see what happens and let us know.

ok this is how i have it now.

i have the ntfs dos CD
and have an usb stick in my pc 2 that is where my iprep maps are
i make an map in backup i cal it 1234567 then in that map i make anotherone 12345
that is where my SAM-OFW.bin file is

when i am into dos i do this turn on xbox then type
E: thats how i get 2 my files and then use

E: fsam 1234567 12345

when i typt that and dint turn off my xbox
i press one for my iXTREME pri
then it says nothing at all
when i press ESC i get status=00 should be 70

damn what do i need 2 do guys i realy wanna play on my xbox again,

have you been in tthe 360 tutorials, here is the link to the video and you should be fine. alrite you have your backup of firmware now and should be in the backup folder of the flash. just type fsam 1234567 12345 and then keep the drive on. once you get pri master then turn the drive off, and press 3 or 1 or whichever the pri master is and then turn your drive back on after hitting 1 2 or 3. and flashing should start.

by the way are you trying to restore the drive or flash it because you should have two firmware in the backop folder.
SAM-CFW
SAM-OFW

make sure both of them have a really good key with no similar numbers or letters

i have both of them but my SAM-OFW.bin is 256 kb
and my SAM-CFW.bin is 0 kb so do i need 2 restore bck to orginal becuse my 360 is now without a firmware
or do i need 2 flash it????

when you looked at your key what did it look like.
was it a lot of different numbers and letters or was it the same letter or number???

ok nice i have my firmware back on my xbox
and dont have the error e65 on my xbox now when i fire it up with the sata from motherboard what is the next step i dont want it to "bad word" it up again.
