got new via card , still no joy help!

got new via card ... installed drivers, unplugged all other drives, went into bios no metion of my sata via vt chipset!

anyway went to i prep and it cant detect my drive or card! wtf? i swear it dont like me?

what via card is it, try using different pci slot and only update the drivers for the card which are from the cd which came with it.

Make sure the card is fully seated in the pci slot.

When you installed the card and booted into windows, did windows find new hardware?

okay swaped pci slot installed drivers. accepted... tried again same old routine. iprep does not pick up ixtreame drive. no drives detected! both xbox and pc powered at same time also tried many different powering up methods still no joy. it seems as if the chip set is installed but unable to connect my drive ..... i also tried to connect my drive in windows and it just freezes .so i disconnect after 10 sec it unfreezes, so it knows its there but wont pick it up... ?????

change the port try using the port which is nearer to the computer and see what happens

via vt6421a placed in pci slot 2 fully functioning drivers. 5.1.6.
phoenix award bios cmos setup utility.
unable to select a raid comliant option however it will allow me to boot from scsi?
when iprep is booted it does not pick any drives?
i try in windows and it freezes computer!
what else would you like to know?

what drive are yo trying to flash.
make sure the card is working.
try a ide drive of some kind any thing to make sure the card is good
is the card showing good in the device manger

Typicly it is always the port at the end of the card - not the external or the top port.
You was told this earlier
