you have to do this to build your hacked sam firmware.

The next step is to create your hacked firmware. First, rename the samsung/benq firmware that we just re-keyed and spoofed to orig.bin. Next, extract the firmware that you got from xbins. Inside the extracted contents, you should find a 2, 5, 8 and 12x folder, for the Benq, you'll also find a non-stealth folder, don't use this one unless you know what your doing. copy your samsung or benq orig.bin into the folder that you would like your drive's speed to run at. 12x is stock speed, 2x is slowest, we don't recommend anything below 8x. Open that folder and you should have your orig.bin along with several other files, one of which should be Make iXtreme firmware.

Cofree, thanks for the reply. I have done all that again, and still keep getting same message as soon as i double click make iXtreme firmware, Error, please copy the orig.bin to this directory first press any key to continue. Could i copy the orig.bin to my flash drive, then do a rsam?. Then could i dsam and let it create the hacked f/ware then flash? Does this make sense? Thanks again .....

Cofree, have done it, well that prob anyway. I was saving the orig as orig.bin instead of just orig, must of had a bit of a moment!!. Now when i go to flash the drive i get the cfw-bin 1234567 12345 not found, aborting message! have checked and double checked the ofw and cfw firmware in firmware toolbox and everything checks out ok. Even though the drive is behaving as a hitachi i still flash like a samsung yes?. Thanks for all your help in advance, look forward to your reply :)

ok man after you have the two firmware done.
make sure the new spoofed, hacked firmware is named right.like the guide.

when it gives you that error its not seeing the spoofed/hacked firmware.
make sure you have the spoof firmware in the right folders.
make sure the folders that are in the backup folder are named the same as what you are putting in to flash.

if it a sam drive you have to flash it as a sam drive.it dont matter what firmware you are putting in it.
its a sam so you HAVE to flash/dump it that way or it just wont work.

now that you have your spoofed/hacked firmware there is a different way to get it in the sam dvd drive.
i would stick with one way till you give up on it. dont jump back and forth.

you can flash it in by doing a restore on the drive.you have to rename the spoof/hacked firmware like the guide says and buiild the usb flash with the folders in the backup folder.
have a look over this.
http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... =110&t=196
all this is doing is tricking the driver into thinking your are restoring but the firmware you put in will be the spoof/hacked firmware

dont get in a hurry with this.
if you need anything just ask.
