i use few different dvds....most were 7.85 to 8gb in size...but nothing

^i followed that guide...i tried backing up jericho

game seems to rip fine i get a 7.05 gb .iso

then when i put it in mulleter...it never gets fully checkd....i pres yes an no here an there like it says in that guide....but dont work

Also, i tried backing up call of duty 4...and i got a crc error in wx ripper.....has anyone else successfully rippd it with this method ?

thanks for any help or suggestions guys...i'm just really frustrated cuz i thought this method would work.....but obviously it doesn't work that well at all.

This is one reason why we strongly suggest to everyone to get an sh-d162c IDE or the sata version for this task. I don't use this method at all, so maybe one of the other guys might know what to tell you to try.

sorry man
if the game is not in there data base it will not patch the iso for you.
there are other way and timing on doing the hot swap.
have a read in this in the backup part.
thats the best i can tell you.

I to do no recommend this way of backing up.
the best way by far is to get a sh-d162c dvd drive with the v100 firmware in it.to back up with.

I agree 100%. Backing up games with Xbox Backup Creator and one of the Samsung drives is easy and takes no time or skill. The isos always come out passing all checks in Mulleter, I've never had an iso created with Xbox Backup Creator fail.
