No video... No sound...

I was playing madden then all of a sudden it froze i rebooted then got no sound or video. What could be my issue. I boots..just no sound or video. if i leave it on for about 1 min i get the R.O.D

First thing I would do is try a new a/v cable. You will get the ring same way if you unplug those cables, so maybe its gone bad or has come out in the back.

Try what Jman suggested first. If it still displays the same symptoms, then your 360 has suffered rrod. You might consider the x-clamp replacement if you don't want to deal with Microsoft if this is the case.

The bad RROD is just 3 lights.the top right light wont be on.
if your video cable goes bad or gets unplugged then it will light up all 4 lights.

hi i am not scaring you but your one of the chips or some kind of fault has occured in your motherboard. if it doesnt display anything i guess you burned the board from there. the reason i am saying this because on ebay there are quite few faulty xbox 360;s which had the same problem and no one knew what to do with it, they also tried using new av cable but nothing happened.

but before you do anything change the av cable and try the xbox if you see the display but get rrod then i guess try x-xclamp fix which is recommended by sadalius and jman

I would say have a look at the secondary error codes on Llamma's site (google it, as per usual)

See if you can get your 360 to display one. That might give you a better indication of what is playing up.
