hi, if the iprep doesnot work with the chipset then i guess it wont work, many people dont get their onboard sata to work with the benq drives so you will have to get this card below

first of all, to avoid the dissapointment get this card. it works like a treat when it comes to flashing benq drives.

http://svp.co.uk/product/via_vt6421a_sa ... _card_5617

then follow this tutorial video step by step.

flashed 16 benQ, 8 Sams25, 3 sam28, 2 hit 0059dj, 2 0047dh 3 0047dj, still stuck on 0078fk, failed 0047dj hardware

If you are running Vista make sure its using the proper Nforce drives and not the MS drivers.

I had a similar prob with Nforce4 being seen as as just 'IDE Channel', updated the drivers and they appeared.

That's strange, because i've done a few Benq drives with no problem using my Nforce4 with MS drivers in Vista.
You can check out here how i do it.....

P.S. I've been meaning to edit my process b/c you need to shut down the console once you enter " Y " then back on right before the erasing part. After that though, just leave the system running during the flash. Hope you have some luck TC
