what to do next?

Post by dogfood09 »

guys,

After getting through some of my stack errors , i finally got my check sum and all banks ok , then the stack error appeared again , i think i have successfully dump the firmware , i have firmware toolbox , which i loaded the firmware , but how do i know if it all went ok? and also when i restart iprep what command lines do i have to enter to continue the process like the erase and then the write as i figure i will be getting more stack errors.

Thanks again guys

a successful dump will be 256kb & you must check it with firmware toolbox 1st.

what setup are you using??

like msk said it will be 256k but also in firmware toolbox the key will be a lot of different letters and numbers. If it all the same letter or number then that is not a good dump.

i would try getting a dump with a different usb flash
and if you dont have this card get it.

always, always check the key from your dump in FW toolbox before you flash/erase. If the key in this dump is bad and you flash with it, you have a nifty dvd player... :D
