right i get that.

the thing is make sure it works by just doing a firmware update.even if you have v1.41 in your 360 dvd drive now.
flash over it with v1.41
it will flash over just fine. This will let you know that it is working.
After you know its working then you can try the 0800 firmware that you want to flash in.

The blaster i use are the old v1 blaster. It gets its power from a old AT power supply not the 360 itself.
Ive never messed with the newer one or the xeno

well the d1 not flashing could be your usb flash.
if you have used that flash then its not that.

i would quite trying to do a restore or flash in the 0800.
just do a update with the v1.41 firmware till you get this going.even if you are flashing v1.41 over v1.41 that is fine.

at this point i would take the drive out and see if it will dump/flash without the xeno in line.
if it goes good you will know that you are not doing something right or it bad.

well ive not read that.
i have a old blaster v1 on my benq and it works fine.

if you can take the drive out of the 360 and it flash fine then there is something wrong with the xeno

one thing i've noticed with the 0800 fw is most of the time regardless of how/when you plug in your 360 drive to ur pc it won't dectect it or show up in xbc until you enable it in your hardware settings...since i'm flashin back an forth between ixtreme an 0800 i have to do this everytime an it works perfect this way, just enable the drive.

i was getting a headache before i figured this out cuz almost everytime xbc wouldn't detect the drive.

all good now.
