I have an xbox 360 with the 79fk drive.And was curious as to if someone knows how to mod it?Cause I do not know how to Thank You

You will need to install a Maximus Passkey to be able to read and write the iXtreme firmware. Unfortunately the passkey has to be soldered to the DVD drive and the solder points are very small. There are nine wires I believe. After installing the passkey, the flashing process is the same as the FK78's, dump and flash with Maximus Firmware Toolbox. Due to the difficulty involved in soldering the passkey, it is not recommended you attempt to solder it unless you have a lot of soldering experience.

Alright Well that anwsered my first question,Now since I don't know how to do any of the soldering can someone point me in a direction to someone that knows how to do that? Or someone that would be willing to do a trade of xbox's needs to be different than a 79fk drive.

You're on your own with that man. None of the admins or mods on this site will install one of those due to legal issues. There are some sites that will install them but you'll probably have to google it. There was a site that was mentioned on one of the posts that you may be able to find if you do a search.
