Super Quick Question ASAP!!!

I want to change my FW from 8x to 12x. Do i need to flash back to the original fw then go to 12x or can I just dump the 8x and have iprep replace it with 12x?

Pretty sure you don't have to revert to stock FW before changing it to the 12x iXtreme FW...but I'll let one of the other confirm for you.

Benq and sammy, don't need to be flashed back to stock. Hitachi requires a restore.

Jman is 100% correct. If you have a benq or a samsung, just create a hacked 12x firmware with your dvd key and flash it straight out. If you have a hitachi, you'll need to run the restore before hand and re-do the hack.
