How do u back up games with the 360elite w/ BenQ

Just wondering if there is a mistake in the guide. the guidre says to download Benq.iXtreme.v1.4.rar. But the only one clos to that in xbins is Benq iXtreme v1.41.rar. i was just wondering if they were the exact same and maybe it was just wrote wrong. plz let me kno

the newest firmware for the benq is the v1.41.
i dont make a new guide every time a new firmware comes out

You have to understand that the guides are written to give you an idea on how to do the procedure that the topic is about. As long as the procedure remains the same, then there is no point to re-vamp a guide just to correct a firmware version update. In situations like this, always go with the latest firmware version.

hey just wondering, when you backup a game onto your PC should it be an .iso file or what?

yea when you dump the game.you will have a dvd file and a big iso file.

Split-vid
Its just a way to build the iso that you burn on a DL disc.
Doing it that way is said to make it look more like a orig disc.
The "big guy" say it don't matter at this time if you burn it with a split-vid iso or not.
I think most of us (at this site) build our iso WITH the split-vid just be be on the safe sid

what do you mean it makes it look more like an original? also when you make a copy of a game is it exactley the same in every way or not? thanks fo ALL your help

im not 100% sure ,but i think the biggest thing is where some of the info is placed.
before split-vid.the backup would have all the video on one layer.now they split the video.ergo "split-vid"
the games would load faster if the video was in one layer.

i think i most of that right.

i dont know why they have to move the file around

so would it be better to not use splitvid? Also after i backup the game on my pc do i just burn the iso file to a blank dvd? Another thing, can i make copies of ps3, wii, or dvds with the kreon dvd drive i have?

I used the splitvid too. You burn the dvd file to dvd +r dl. Your Kreon drive is good for xbox 360 games. It works
like any dvd drive, you can play dvd movie or use it to backup movies. WII games needs a different dvd drive.
PS3 as far as I know no one is backing up these games.
