im not sure what you are wanting to do.
there are ways to backup a game
one of which is to use a benq drive but this can be tricky and need more than one flash to do.
the bast way is to get a sh-d162c dvd drive from ebay(not made anymore)
and dump the game to your computer then burn it to a DL disc.

there is no way to dump a 360 game i to the hard drive on the 360.

What would be the least stressful way to make copies of xbox 360 games with the elite. (BenQ)

A USB flash drive is a memory stick that connects via USB.

To find out what sata chipset your computer has, look through the device manager, or run iprep and it should tell you.

An NTFS4DOS cd is a bootable CD that will give you a dos prompt, but still be able to read the NTFS file system of the computer. Not all computers have an NTFS file system, but the majority of newer computers do. The idea behind NTFS4DOS CD is to have the iprep files on the main hdd of your computer and use the CD to boot with to get a dos prompt so you can access your hdd where you put the iprep files and run them.

You may or may not have everything that you need. This depends on what chipset your computer has. Lots of people have problems with on board sata so don't get real frustrated if yours don't work, you would just need to order an add on sata card that has the VIA 6421 chipset.

One is about as good as the other really. Most people prefer to do the USB stick though because keeping up with a cd can be a little aggravating :D

man
sata is just a plug that will hook up to the newer dvd drives and HD.
your chipset is the kind of chip on your mother board.

SATA
Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA, IPA: /ˈseɪtə/ or /ˈsætə/) is a computer bus primarily designed for transfer of data between a computer and storage devices (like hard disk drives or optical drives).
The main benefits are faster transfers, ability to remove or add devices while operating (hot swapping), thinner cables that let air cooling work more efficiently, and more reliable operation with tighter data integrity checks than the older Parallel ATA interface.

Your fine man ;)
like i said in the chat just dont get in a hurry.
take your time and read, read and then read some more.

I did my elite with benq
didn't use a Usb mem stick but the old floppy instead. I had troubles booting up form USB.

IF you know what motherboard you have post the exact name so maybe we can double check if your sata chipset is a good one. You can look it up to on the specs of your motherboard.

I had to order a sata VIA VT 6421 L thats a card with other sata chipset that does work fine for the benq !
