Robin Hoods Playground

Verbatims makes DL discs rated at 2.4-6x, and ones rated for up to 10x. I'm not aware of any difference in the dyes or disc quality, but I've never used the 10x discs. Regardless of the rating, DL media is never meant to be burned above 4x.

yea these are 8x then says up to 10x

of course i set it to 2.4...then it burns up to 4x

so i think its all good...havent burnd a coster yet

i'm really not sure how someone burns coasters ? lol

sometimes the disk has a dye which is not compatible with the writer used or really bad media, you do know nothing in the world is perfect even verbatim well i think but sometimes it wont burn or wont lock the disk giving you a coaster, so this is how you get coasters. sorry for vague info thats all i know.

yea these have AZO dye, and are mitsubishi kagaku media.

i guess that's good enough.

also, the bottom of the discs are purple.

Azo just means metal, and yeah MKM dyes are the good stuff, you should have very few coasters with Verbatim's.
