After New Dash Update 12625 the following games do not boot (Black Screen):
Black Ops
Modern Warfare 2
Halo Reach
This is an AP2.5 Update so naturally this does not affect non AP2.5 DVD drives (Early Hitachi & Samsung).
If you had LT+ flashed then you will NOT be flagged for a possible ban (good Job c4eva !).
If you did not have LT+ flashed and you tried to boot these games as backups then you are probably flagged for a ban.
AP2.5 Data both PAL and NTSC have been extracted (thanks to c4 and k3) and c4 is now working on the patches and testing will commence.
There will be no need for a firmware update.
We recommend you do not update yet until there is a working method tested and released.
There is no ETA on release so do not ask.
Just to say it one more time for the guys sitting in the back row
we recommend a 2 console setup
1st console stock playing on live with original game disc
2nd console flashed for playing your backup games off live
just move your HD back and forth

Just to add... if you have LT Plus when you get the black screen, that is LT doing it's job protecting you from logging AP25 errors to the console. You need to turn off the console manually within 3 minutes in order to not get flagged. Some say the 3 min. is for Hitatchi only and that Benq and Lite-On are safe no matter what. Samsung and old Hitatchi are not capable of doing AP25 checks, so they will not get a black screen they will still be able to play the game. But I would still turn it off right after seeing the black screen. c4eva had the insight to install this protective feature knowing this might happen. Basically all games since FIFA 09 have AP25 protection "pressed " into them at the manufacture. Becuase these original discs are "pressed" and not burned, they have data that burning cannot emulate. Microsoft can enable AP25 checks on these discs whenever they choose. This is what they did with these 3 titles on Jan.19 2011. So, keep firmware up to date and if black screen happens, turn off console and get on the web and find out what the deal is.

Thanks for all the helpful info on the situation, but one MAJOR Question hasn't been clearly stated that i need to know.
--------->>Does the update affect all back-ups from working or just the games referred in this thread, such as Black Ops, Reach, and MW2?
For instance, will old back-ups (wave 4,5,6) still work offline/online?
+++Thanks if replied
P.S. - Still afraid to update knowing how sneaky Microsoft can be with flagging bans

*Update* Patches have been released via ABGX360 - use the latest version (v1.05)

Do all back-up games need to be repatched or just MW2, Reach, BO?
Cuz i want to know if my other back-up games (eg. wave 4-7 etc...) still work online and offline and the disc drive in general.
Thanks if replied +++

What exactly was the issue? Was abgx360 not correctly checking/patching just these games?
