Everyone says that they are great DVD's for burning backup's just asking and also when i do burn backup's what is the best speed to burn the backup at 2.4x....... or what not.?

2.4 or 4x, don't go above 4x. I've burned all my 360 backups at 4x with no probs.

Thanks guys for the help. I know not to burn to fast just because that can cause error's when reading the disks. I m going to go ahead and buy some of those DVD's. Thanks guys for the fast reply.

Now i m hearing that to make sure that it is flashed with the Keron Firmware. Is that one i posted above already flashed? And if it isn't how would you go about flashing that drive with the Keron Firmware? Thanks, Nxdragon.

Sorry about all of these question but in the ImgBurn program my new dvd drive isn't showing up does anyone know why or what the reason is. I just opened up the program just to see if i can select my new dvd drive and i can't. It comes up in windows and i do have access to the drive if that may help. Anyone know why? Thank, Nxdragon

The drive in your link is a kreon drive, according to the information in the listing. The thing is with these drives, they don't burn disks, they only read them. In order to use imgburn with the drive, you would need a burner of some sort. You can use the samsung to read and rip xbox 360 drives with a program called xbox backup creator and then you would use imgburn to burn the resulting image with your burner.

yeah i don't think normal dvd-rom's show up in imgburn ?

but yeah like sess said, you will need a dual layer burner, i guess the pioneer's are recommended ?

but i think almost any DL burner will do the job.

XBC program is what you need when reading/ripping a 360 disc.

ur drive should show up in that.

I have a major problem i hook all of my things up and the power supply and everything but it won't detect in windows. I have tryed in on 3 different computers but it wont show up. Does anyone know why? What is the problem. Help please!!!

Do you have the mode B button down on the connectivity kit? That is very important. It won't recognize otherwise.

yeah it is down. I have a question though in windows vista under problem devices it is saying that the USB Human Interface Device and it is saying that it can't start. Does that mean anything and if it does, does anyone know how to fix it. thanks.

2 of them are running windows xp and the one i m on now is running windows vista
