you have to have the right key in the right console
the key is in the flash chip on the pcb board

hi there again just a question about this key that i lost for my lite on drive i think i have found it on my computer how do i know if it is the right lite on key from my drive when i open it up in jungleflasher it dont say wot drive its from all it says in the key box is the string of letters and number

i know the hitachi drive i have got the key starts with the letters BD but on this one when i loaded it in JF it starts with 7D148939*********************** could this be my lite on key or not

with the lite on
you need more than just the key
at the very least you would need the key.bin,identify.bin and the inquiry.bin

then all you can do is flash it in the drive and see if it works
