so i guess i should shut off all MAJOR appliances.

i have a question, my VIA VT6421A chip has arrived today and i cannot update the driver. it came with a samll disk but gives me alot of files that don't work. what should i do?

install the driver from the disc

i ripped a game on my PC i have a small 1kb dvd file and a lage ISO fie. how should i go about burning them to a double layerd dvd

Nice guide CoFree. Just to add, it is no longer necessary to set the Layer Break manually in ImgBurn. Simply drag and drop the dvd file into ImgBurn and will read the Layer Break automatically from the dvd file. You can skip that step when burning with ImgBurn. Now if you were to use DVD Decrypter to burn 360 games, you will still have to set the Layer Break manually.

i haven't got the chance to put my 360 back together, there is a little clip with jagged edges that holds the drive in place i think. Where does it go and how do i put it back on.

yea, i got it back on. it keeps the dvd drive in place better.

Yeah just depends what connections your motherboard has available. I personally would just go with a Liteon or BenQ, most Sony drives are just rebadges of those two manufacturers sold at a higher price.

will the dvd burner affect the load speed of the game while ur playing or is that just the dvd-r dl disc brand?

PS if the dvd burner does affect it is the one i showed you any good?
